DEACONESS MINISTRY
HISTORY
 

Minister Josh Henderson, born and raised in Social Circle believed the deacons wives played an important role in encouraging their husbands and the community to get on board as they moved forward laying the foundation for another church in the community.
Today, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. William Davenport the deaconess are still by their husbands - (deacons') sides.  From the old church building to the new church building, they are still pushing forward and setting good examples for the other members.
