About Our Pastor
Bishop Davenport is married to Constance M. (Zachery) Davenport, his high school sweetheart. They have been married since 1975 and are the proud parents of four: Nikkita Renee Warfield (Michael), Dwann Cheri Gabiam (Jacob), William Jourard, and Arielle Briana Quarles (Mikhail). They have five granddaughters: Morgan, Micah, London, Mikhaila, Azaria, and three grandsons: Jacob, Moche, and Benjamin.
Bishop Davenport started his pastorate at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in 1984. His personal testimony is “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
Vision
It is the shared vision of Bishop Davenport and the members of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. “to see the whole world saved, starting with the lives we encounter.”

OUT-REACH GLOBAL MINISTRIES
Ibadan, Nigeria: 2000 – present: CMBC built a church and a 21-room school – The City of Faith Comprehensive College. We are currently supporting the building of another church in Africa.
India: 2008 Supplied 40 bicycles to the village ministers to travel throughout the many villages winning souls for Christ. Based on recent mission report, over 12,000 people have accepted Christ as their Savior.
Liberia: Provided support for a missionary for over 16 years.
Tanzania: Support to Pastor Vincent Mbarikiwa ministries.

EDUCATION
Bishop Davenport’s education consists of High School diploma --East Atlanta High School; B.S. degree (Electronic Engineering)--Fort Valley State University; Certificate in Biblical Studies -- Ambassador Bible College; Graduate Studies in Religion -- Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA); and a Doctorate of Pastoral Counseling (D PC) -- Andersonville Theological Seminary. Bishop Davenport retired from Georgia Power Company as an area manager.
