Music Ministry

Since the age of 10, Dr. Coni has maintained active membership in either a choir or praise/worship group. Her singing career covers a span of more than 40 years. Notably, she sang with the recording group, Interdenominational Mass Choir (IMC), under the leadership of Kelvin Broughton and John Croslan II, for the 25 years of its establishment. Currently, she sings with the recording group Voices of Worship (VOW), and has been with the group since its conception in 1999. As a seasoned soprano, Constance is noted as a little woman with a “big voice!” With the two groups afore mentioned, Constance has opened for Richard Smallwood, Dottie Peoples, the Williams Brothers, Paul Porter, Dorothy Norwood, Velma Watkins, Zebulon Ellis, and others. She sang background and/or lead vocals
on seven musical CDs—three with IMC, two with VOW, one with Lois Sneed, and one with Blue Favors.

At the age of 21 years, Dr. Coni realized her gifting in song writing. She has written over 50 songs. Six have been published on two music CD projects, “Diversified Praise” by Voices of Worship (5) and “Beyond Our Borders” by the Interdenominational Mass Choir (1). She established the “Praise Team” and “Divine Praize” (originally named Teen Praize), and co-established “Young People of Praise”
(YPP), and “Voices of Worship” (VOW) at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.

through teaching, counseling, and training the saved.
